Ich wunder mich immer wieder: Vor ein paar Wochen stellte Jan den Gucci Fiat vor, und ich hätte wetten können, dass die meisten ihn blöd, albern, zu klein, kitschig oder sowas in dieser Richtung finden würden. Pustekuchen – überwiegend positives Feedback bekam die Kooperation der beiden italienischen Häuser.
Trussardi mag es etwas luxuriöser: Sie kooperierten mit BMW Italia und ließen die Fließheck-Limousine der Oberklasse etwas schnittiger erscheinen – die Ledersitze wurden mit dem Trussardi Logo, dem Greyhound, gebrandet und bevor ich mich hier in schlechtes Licht rücke und irgendeinen Quatsch über die technischen Raffinessen schreibe, veröffentliche ich lieber den Pressetext und noch weitere Bilder – Nach dem Klick

“Elegant, understated, and at the same time sensual and attractive, the BMW 5 Series Trussardi was inspired by the world of leather and gloves, which characterized the origins of the brand.For the new BMW 5 Series Gran Turismo, built in a limited edition and designed by the Trussardi style office,the emphasis was on new exterior details and new and luxurious interior finishings. For the exterior look, the choice fell on an exclusive color – a characteristic warm metallic brown that has been named Heraldic Brown. The paintwork is executed in three layers and the color of the body changes gradation with varying exposition to light.Several elements, such as the front grill,the rear strip and the shadow-line are in the same color as the body, while the strip in the front air intake is dark grey matt. The 20-inch double-spoke alloy wheels, no. 316, which mount 245/40 tires in the front and 275/35 in the back,have been burnished to blend in with the unique look of the car. The Trussardi logo – the greyhound that is the symbol of the fashion house in the center of a heraldic coat of arms – appears on the front fenders,near the directional blinkers,as further identifi cation of this special edition. The interior finishings of the BMW 5 Series Gran Turismo Trussardi are exclusive as well. The seats are covered in a special leather in the Leather Glove Beige color, with contrasting stitching that creates a caned motif inspired by a history-making glove in the Trussardi archives. An additional touch of elegance for the interiors comes with the presence of the Trussardi logo – blending tradition and modernity – which is embossed on the seat headrests and appears also on the central tunnel.
