Die Idee ist zwar nicht neu (Anfang der 2000er-Jahre gab es Militaryhemden mit Blumen von Tom Ford für Gucci, während sich in Hamburg die Faktorei Geheim mit bestickten Parkas großer Beliebtheit erfreute), aber das Ergebnis überzeugt dafür umso mehr: Maria Grazia Chiuri und Pierpaolo Piccioli haben für die neueste Valentino Capsule Collection insgesamt elf Bomberjacken mit Schmetterlingen, Blumen, Drachen und Co. verziert.
Einziger Wermutstropfen: der Preis. Mit $2.350 aufwärts sind die Jacken – nun ja – nicht ganz günstig …
